Brodiaea californica ‘Babylon’ is a robust, California native bulb featuring large, amethyst-pink star-shaped flowers in dense clusters on 24-inch stems. Blooming in late spring to early summer, this butterfly-friendly perennial is excellent for rock gardens, sunny borders, and cut flowers. It requires full sun, well-draining soil, and dry summers. A prized cut flower, Brodiaea californica ‘Babylon’ will naturalize readily if it’s happy where it’s planted and left undisturbed.
