Erigeron glaucus ‘Sea Breeze’ is lower, darker green with smaller leaves and more compact habit than the species. The great thing about this cultivar is how long it blooms. Keep trimming the dead flowers off and it will keep flowering through spring, summer, and fall. If you live next to the coast, expect the flowering to be even better. Provide some partial shade inland in the summer months. Seaside Daisy tends to stay under a foot tall.
Tolerates clay, drought, gophers, and deer. Excellent for seaside locations, copes well with poor, dry soil and salt spray. Nice low-mounding, tidy habit.
