Erigeron glaucus ‘Wayne Roderick’, Wayne Roderick Seaside Daisy

Out of stock

This cultivar is a compact evergreen perennial with gorgeous lavender-pink flowers 1″ in diameter. This useful, small daisy provides masses of flower color for mixed borders, rock gardens, coastal bluff gardens, containers or as a small-scale groundcover. The butterflies will love you for providing this plant!

Erigeron x ‘Wayne Roderick’ is lower, darker green with smaller leaves and more compact habit than the species. It is believed to be of hybrid origin, with one of the parents being Erigeron glaucus. This one is impressive.  The flowers are 1″ across and lavender with considerable pink in them. The great thing about this cultivar is its long blooming. Keep trimming the dead flowers off and it will keep flowering through spring, summer and fall. If you live next to the coast, expect the flowering to be even better. Provide some partial shade inland in the summer months. Seaside Daisy tends to stay under a foot tall.
